Healthy Food Guidelines

NPS has released final draft Healthy and Sustainable Food Choice Standards and Guidelines for Front Country Operations and final draft NPS Healthy and Sustainable Food Choice Guidelines for Back-country Operations.  A Healthy and Sustainable Food Choices Glossary has also been released.  

The standards and guidelines continue to apply to new contracts – not applying to existing contracts – focus on providing visitors with choices, and incorporate recognition that sustainability options should be determined on a local basis and that back-country opportunities are also location and activity dependent.  Click on the title of the document to view a copy.
